Professor Chu Fuling's book Interpretation of China's Social Security System(English version) has been published by Tianjin People's Publishing House in November 2023。

Since the founding of the People's Republic of China 70 years ago, Chinesegovernment attached great importance to the development of social security. Greatachievements have been made in the construction of social security system, including social insurance and social assistance.

To sum up the experience of social security system construction in the past 70years since the founding of the People's Republic of China, this book will cover several parts of China's social security system including the old-age protection, healthprotection, employment protection, disability protection, maternity protection, socialsecurity of the poor and vulnerable groups, so as to provide theoretical supportsfor a higher-quality social security system. Thirdly, build social security system with an all-purpose card for theoverall planning of urban and rural areas, and realize the technological innovationof social security. Fourthly, a "collaborative" social security system will be builtwith clear rights and responsibilities to realize institutional innovation of social security. Fifthly, build an appropriate, sustainable and multi-level social security system and make innovations in social security mechanisms.

The book sorts out the historical context in terms of the development of China'ssocial security system, constructs the logical framework of China's social securitysystem, sets up the knowledge system of China's social security and answers the hotissues of China's social security. This book has a rigorous system and rich content,which is a new achievement in the study of China's social security system.

This book focuses on the introduction and analysis of China's social securitysystem, which is different from "theoretical analysis, evaluation of operation, and international comparison of social security", but complementary to each other. "Theinterpretation of China's social security system" introduces system construction, which is neither theoretical analysis nor operational evaluation.
